Dave wandering past the fountain in one of
Tomsk's squares..

Jay using the rudimentary 'facilities' in one of the cells...

The amazing German-Russian house - one of many beautiful and ornately carved medieval wooden houses, for
which Tomsk is famous...

The receptionist at the Hotel Siberia, who led us out to the road to Novosibirsk in the taxi that took
her home after her shift! Thanks, Tanya!

Another night, another excellent camp in a hayfield, this one just outside Krasnoyarsk, where the cops took Uncle
Joe's Mint Balls as a bribe instead of the usual 100 roubles!

It was a beautiful evening and as the sun set the mist swept across the field...bringing with it the pixies
(and The Pixies!)

Another stunning sunset...

Wow! What an astounding place! Wish I was there now instead of Weymouth! Mind you, I do have a SHOWER here,
and there are no mossies to speak of...Oh, and the missus lives here. And my kids. Ah, well..... There's always next year!

But it soon got worse! That artic in the middle was sliding back down the slope towards us!

If it hadn't been for the rally tyres Dowsett Tyres donated to us, we would still be there!!

A slightly less-great campsite on thick black mud on a hilltop, photographed the morning after. We
had no choice - it was pitch black and our headlights had failed. There was a massive thunderstorm that night and Dave's tent
flooded.

Yay! We've made it to Lake Baikal! Next stop Ulan Ude! A lad told us that we were only the third Mongol
Rally car to get this far!
